The Green Party Trade Union Group held a panel discussion on Thursday 21st January, highlighting the risks posed by Brexit to hard-won rights and standards.
Featuring speakers from UNISON, Global Justice Now, Trade Justice Movement, and the University of Oxford, attendees heard of the democratic deficit inherent in the UK’s trade negotiation and ratification processes.
Panellists also gave their perspectives on the UK government’s trade agenda, as it seeks to establish new trading relationships with other blocs and nations.
