Join us at 7pm on Wednesday 30 November as we discuss the growing wave of strike action in the UK’s education system.
We’ll hear from Vix Lowthion, secondary school teacher and Green Party Education spokesperson, and the NEU President Louise Atkinson on the crisis in education and how we got to this point. We will also hear from Alex Powell, a UCU member at Oxford Brookes University, on the latest round of UCU strike action.
We’ll also discuss how all of us – students, workers, parents, and members of the community – can support educators in struggle and secure a new deal for education in the UK.
